I was born more than half of the century ago. My father was a pilot. There is no doubt, that this affected entire of my life. He was very demanding in respect to his children. Strict rules driven my childhood. Among these rules honesty and everyday hard job were
of the most importance.
My father had to work hard and usually he was far from family home, but he never refused to teach me if I asked him anything. That way I started to learn basics of physics and technology. He was my first and the best teacher. I wanted to follow him and become a pilot. Unfortunately this was impossible due to my weak
eyesight. I had to give up my dreams about flying.
Technology became my escape. Everyday I was spending several hours reading books and building radios and other electronic equipment. When it was proper time to chose secondary school I had no doubts. I decided to attend to school for radio and TV technicians. After 5 years I passed my exams and started studies at Warsaw University of Technology.
As a young engineer I decided to visit USA. During the period of one year and half I was employed at University of Michigan, where under contract with NASA I had ability to conduct two complex projects. My goal was to be an electronic equipment designer. I succeeded and after completing studies in Poland and post graduation practice in USA I have had performed this kind of job for many years. Initially I was working in space industry, then my dream came true and for several years I was working in avionics company.
Regardless of what I was doing in my professional life I always used to carry with me my old SLR camera. Hundreds of pictures were taken every year. After some time I wanted to share the caught beauty with others. Modern technology and Internet made it possible and easy. Having many other hobbies I think that today photography is one of the most importance for me.
